1 The mkdir-p function

Function: mkdir-p a

Try to create the chain of directories up to name. All errors are ignored. If there is an error, the chain of directories is left in place.

Function: open-output-file* a . rest

Open filename for writing, trying to create the chain of directories in case of an error. If an error still happens, leave the created directory chain in place. The additional arguments are passed to open-output-file.

Function: call-with-output-file* a b . rest

Open filename for writing, and call proc with the opened port. Return the return value of proc. Additional arguments are passed to open-output-file*.

Function: with-output-to-file* a b . rest

Call proc in an environment where the current output file is redirected to filename, creating the chain of directories if necessary. Additional arguments are passed to call-with-output-file.
